Summary: | The Alaska Gasline Development Corporation (AGDC) advised advised FERC federal regulators that by mid-summer 2018 it will answer the latest round of questions regarding the environmental impact statement for the Alaska LNG Project. It will analyze the LNG site options at Valdez and Port MacKenzie, as well. Mitigation plans will be submitted by June 1. Impact payment agreements with communities is being considered. AGDC is already looking into financing options, including Chinese companies. A team from AGDC visited Chinese steel mills to evaluate manufacturing for 42-inch diameter pipe needed for the project. |
