Description
Summary:In 2016 the second round of draft environmental and construction planning reports (called "resource reports") for the Alaska LNG Project were released. The Federal Energy Regulatory Commission has sent 266 pages of comments and questions from federal and state agencies on five of the project's twelve draft environmental reports issued during the second round. Now that the three private partners in the venture decided not to proceed with a formal application to FERC in 2017, the State of Alaska plans to take over control of the project and submit an application.
