Summary:Because of the intensity of local residents' concerns related to potential effects of the Susitna Hydroelectric Project on their lifestyles, this sociocultural study was performed. The purpose of this report is to describe baseline sociocultural conditions of communities located near the Project site and to provide a preliminary analysis of potential effects of the Project on those communities. Some of the residents' concern lies with the proposed access routes to the construction and dam sites.
