Summary: | "This phase I Final Draft Report of the Adult Anadromous Fisheries project presents the data collected on the five species of adult salmon in Susitna River by the Alaska Department of Fish and Game (ADF&G) during the 1981 Su Hydro Aquatic Studies."--Leaf E-2-1. The objectives of this study are: seasonal distribution and relative abundance of adult anadromous fishes (for this study this was limited to Pacific salmon); enumeration and characterization of the runs of adult anadromous fishes; timing and nature of migration, milling and spawning activities; and identification of spawning locations and estimating their importance. Most observation stations were along the Susitna River with one station along the Yentna River. |
