Description
Summary:In 1983 the Alaska Power Authority (APA) filed an application called "Before the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission : application for license for major project, Susitna Hydroelectric Project" (APA numbers 123-132, 150-152, 484). On December 12, 1983, the U.S. Department of the Interior, Office of the Secretary filed a 108-page letter about the application to FERC. By November 28 eight other federal and state agencies also filed letters. In this document APA responds to the December 12, 1983 letter from U.S. Department of the Interior, Office of the Secretary. (Another document, which is numbered APA 1134 and APA 2496, is APA's response to the other eight agencies.)
Physical Description:3 volumes : illustrations, maps ; 28 cm + 2 maps, sheets 56 x 46 cm and 53 x 46 cm + 24 attachments.
Notes:"February 15, 1984."

Harza-Ebasco series statement from label on cover of v. [3]. Label has statement "1 of 25" referring to the collection of references: vol. 3 (APA 2905) plus 24 titles bound separately that accompany APA 2905.

Two topographic maps (reference to comments B.18 and I.42) in pocket of v. [3].

The references cited in the Alaska Power Authority's comment/response documents are listed in the bibliography of volume 1. Volume 3 contains the briefer references, and the preface of that volume states that other references are contained in separately bound reports. Some copies of volume 3 and its 24 accompanying documents can be identified by the handwritten note "[number] of 25" on an attached "Harza-Ebasco Susitna Joint Venture document" series label and by a stamp "Alaska Power Authority response to agency comments on license application, Reference to comment(s)". The Susitna Hydroelectric Project document index (Numerical listing, page 208), gives "25 books" as part of the description of APA 2905 (the third volume). These 25 works (volume [3] plus the twenty-four items that each constitute a reference to a specific comment) will be cataloged separately when made available.
