Notes: | "Susitna Hydroelectric Project. Federal Energy Regulatory Commission, Project No. 7114." "November 1984." Series statement from label on cover. On October 11, 1984 the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission requested that Alaska Power Authority provide a breach analysis of the Watana and Devil Canyon dams assuming they fail under scenarios of sunny day, flood, and earthquake conditions. This report, written by Harza-Ebasco Susitna Joint Venture, contains the response. The National Weather Service dambreak flood forecasting model, DAMBRK, which is coded in Fortran, was selected to simulate the hypothetical dam failures. |
