Description
Summary:This study is focused on describing the current fish assemblage including spatial and temporal distribution, and relative abundance by species and life stage in the Susitna River upstream of the proposed Watana Dam. The study will characterize distribution, abundance, run timing, and life history of resident and non-salmon anadromous species, and characterize freshwater rearing stages of anadromous fishes (fry and juveniles). It is designed to provide baseline biological information regarding periodicity and habitat suitability for the Instream Flow Modeling Study.
