Description
Summary:As part of the Alaska Energy Authority's license application submitted to FERC for the proposed Susitna-Watana Hydroelectric Project, studies are needed on how construction and operation will affect flow, sediments, turbidity, and water temperature downstream of the dam on the Susitna River. These modified regimes will affect distribution of aquatic habitat and may affect fish access to sloughs and tributary streams. This study plan outlines the objectives and methods for assessing information that will serve as a basis for future flow and habitat studies.
