Description
Summary:In November 1979 the Alaska Power Authority (APA) contracted Acres American Inc. to produce a feasibility plan for the Susitna Hydroelectric Project. The application for license is to be submitted to FERC. Exhibit E of that application includes a discussion of effects of existing instream flow uses on project water for irrigation, domestic supplies, and industrial and other purposes. To support that discussion in Exhibit E, an instream flow assessment is being conducted, and a telephone survey was undertaken in January 1981 as the initial step in the development of an instream flow study plan. This document contains a description and analysis of the survey and completed interview forms. As part of APA's public participation program, representatives of federal and state agencies, public interest groups, and Native corporations were interviewed.

This document appears to be an initial version of the report. The report was issued also by the Alaska Power Authority as an official publication of the Susitna Hydroelectric Project. The textual content is the same as in that official publication, but it has a cover, new title page with different title statement, and different pagination, and the interview forms appear in different order.
