Comments to the Draft Environmental Impact Statement from agencies and the public are due later this year. That Draft EIS details various adverse effects the project would have on the environment, but it also states recommendations to lessen or avoid some effects. The city of Valdez is unhappy with the Draft EIS support for the Nikiski site. This release also describes many new LNG ventures worldwide that are competing for the market. | ||
