Summary: The proposed Susitna Hydroelectric Project may effects on downstream fishery populations and habitats in the Susitna River drainage, Alaska. To predict these effects and to identify appropriate streamflow regimes to minimize negative effects and to aid mitigation efforts, a simulation with a computerized model system was conducted to determine such post-project conditions. Unmeasured water discharges and stream temperatures are predicted. In building this water balance model, determination of stream temperatures required flow data at various mainstem and tributary locations.
